The Polynesian craft industry is very appreciated by both locals and visitors. Every year, various exhibitions such as Made in Fenua (textile, jewellery, cosmetics, etc) bring together Polynesian art lovers.

In addition, several craft markets enable people to display their products not only coming from Tahiti but also from several other Polynesian islands…The Heiva Rima’i in summer, the Tifaifai exhibition in spring, the Marquesas exhibition at the beginning of summer and many others.

All of this know-how including weaving natural local fibre, wood or stone carving, sewing, or crafted necklaces and jewellery incarnates all the richness of Tahiti and Her Islands combining tradition and modernity.

Jewellery, decorative articles, furniture and other objects made by our craftsmen thanks to their manual dexterity will charm visitors from all over the world.
